Retrograde Protection Candle Vigil

Retrograde Protection Candle Vigils are dressed and burned to seek spiritual protection against the disruptions, delays, misunderstandings, and challenges traditionally associated with planetary retrogrades.

In astrology, a planetary retrograde occurs when a planet appears to move backward through the zodiac. These periods are traditionally associated with challenges involving the areas of life governed by the retrograde planet. While Mercury Retrograde is perhaps the best known, other planetary retrogrades are believed to influence different aspects of our lives.

This vigil may be petitioned for protection during any planetary retrograde, including:

• Mercury: Communication breakdowns, misunderstandings, travel difficulties, and technological disruptions.

• Venus: Relationship troubles, romantic misunderstandings, and financial concerns.

• Mars: Conflict, frustration, anger, and obstacles to taking action.

Unlike our Mercury Retrograde Protection Vigil, which focuses specifically on Mercury's influence, this vigil may be directed toward any planetary retrograde. The work is tailored to the planet involved and your particular concerns, petitioning for protection, clarity, stability, and the ability to navigate challenging circumstances with greater peace and confidence.

Your vigil will be carefully dressed, blessed, petitioned, and burned on your behalf by Divine Harmony Spiritual Church. You will receive a photograph of your candle vigil. If you select the optional emailed report, you will also receive our observations and interpretation of any signs seen during the burn. In the Petition field, please specify which planetary retrograde you wish to address and include your personal petition, describing the concerns or circumstances for which you are seeking spiritual protection.
