Saint Gertrude Candles are burned to petition Saint Gertrude, the patron saint of cats, gardens, and travelers, for protection from fever and rats—but most especially for blessings for cats. She is also called upon for protection for widows, gardens, travelers, and those experiencing mental illness.
Your vigil will be carefully dressed, blessed, petitioned, and burned on your behalf by Divine Harmony Spiritual Church. You will receive a photograph of your candle vigil. If you select the optional emailed report, you will also receive our observations and interpretation of any signs seen during the burn.
