Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez Candle Vigil

Saint José Gregorio Hernández was a beloved Venezuelan physician remembered for combining his deep Catholic faith with a life of medicine, charity, and service to those in need. Devotion to him spread throughout Venezuela and beyond as patients, families, doctors, and other medical professionals sought his prayers and intercession.

This vigil may be petitioned for someone who is ill, undergoing medical tests, preparing for surgery, receiving treatment, or recovering from a health condition. It may also be set for physicians, nurses, caregivers, and medical teams, asking that they be guided toward accurate answers, wise decisions, effective treatment, steady hands, and compassionate care. This spiritual work may accompany appropriate medical treatment as an expression of faith, hope, and prayer.

Your vigil will be carefully dressed, blessed, petitioned, and burned on your behalf by Divine Harmony Spiritual Church. You will receive a photograph of your candle vigil.
