This adversarial work may be petitioned when someone uses their beauty, charm, popularity, or carefully maintained image to manipulate others or cause harm. It seeks to strip away the favorable impression surrounding that person so their flaws become more noticeable, their presence feels unpleasant, and others begin to view them as unattractive and undesirable.
The work is directed toward perception and social appeal rather than physical injury. It may be used to lessen an enemy’s romantic appeal, damage their popularity, weaken friendships and professional relationships, or cause others to avoid their company. While Discord creates conflict between people, Disfigurement seeks to isolate the enemy by diminishing the attraction, acceptance, and admiration they receive from others.
Your vigil will be carefully dressed, blessed, petitioned, and burned on your behalf by Divine Harmony Spiritual Church. You will receive a photograph of your candle vigil. If you select the optional emailed report, you will also receive our observations and interpretation of any signs seen during the burn.
