In Greek mythology, Eris cast the Golden Apple of Discord among Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite, turning a single object into the source of a bitter rivalry that ultimately contributed to the Trojan War. The apple symbolizes a seemingly small seed of conflict that spreads, divides allies, and causes relationships and carefully constructed plans to unravel.
Discord work may be petitioned to disrupt cooperation, turn associates against one another, and fill an enemy’s affairs with arguments, mistrust, competing agendas, and continual problems. While Inflammatory Confusion focuses upon provoking heated disagreements, Discord seeks to create a broader and more persistent state of disharmony in which alliances weaken, coordinated efforts collapse, and the enemy becomes consumed by conflict.
Your vigil will be carefully dressed, blessed, petitioned, and burned on your behalf by Divine Harmony Spiritual Church. You will receive a photograph of your candle vigil. If you select the optional emailed report, you will also receive our observations and interpretation of any signs seen during the burn.
