Chance Encounter work may be petitioned when you want to see or speak with someone in person but do not know when or where you might naturally meet. It is often used when contact has been lost, communication has stalled, or someone has been avoiding direct interaction. The intention is to draw both people to the same place at the same time, giving a conversation, reconnection, or important exchange the opportunity to begin.
This vigil focuses on creating an opportunity for an in-person encounter; it does not determine what will happen once the meeting occurs. If your immediate goal is contact by telephone, text, email, or social media, the Call Me! vigil may be more appropriate.
Your vigil will be carefully dressed, blessed, petitioned, and burned on your behalf by Divine Harmony Spiritual Church. You will receive a photograph of your candle vigil. If you select the optional emailed report, you will also receive our observations and interpretation of any signs seen during the burn.
